I Want a Waterproof Digital Camera

When I'm looking at investment properties I like to take lots of pictures. I usually carry a notebook but my scribbles and memories only work so well. Since I live in the cold, wet Northeast I have been thinking about upgrading to a waterproof digital camera. Please give me a shout if you have any experience with them. I am always looking for recommendations.
